This was done for a Stargate Special Ops mission. MGM and Stargate detailed these rules: This week, on January 9th, Stargate Atlantis will take its final bow after five successful seasons. Your mission is to commemorate this event by creating an image that bids farewell to the series. Be sure to include some text along with your image – i.e. a favorite quote, the date of the finale, the years the show ran, or a line that sums up your feelings. Think about what a great, iconic Stargate Atlantis poster might look like. Your picture can be rendered in any medium – a drawing, painting, photo collage, computer-generated – it’s up to you.

About five hours of work, including finding resources.

SG 1 & SG : Atlantis, I loved ( Took me awhile to get into SG : Atlantis, but worth it ). Just can't excited about SG : Universe - Even if someone threatened me with physical pain.....

OK, maybe pain or the threat of it would get me interested in SG : Universe.

Yeah, I watched half of the first season of SGU and man was I disappointed. Talk about not having a sci-fi feel let alone a Stargate feel. It was like CSI mixed with Star Wars Episode II and Dawson's Creek. Epic FAIL.

SGU shouldn't be watched by clinically depressed, suicidal people. Dawson's Creek or 90210 in space. Put a bunch of teens & twenty - somethings - predominantly - on a malfunctioning rust - bucket flying through intergalactic space ! YEAH !
